It's Seminar Time!

We are so fortunate to have Aneladee Milne come back to our community and share her wealth of knowledge with us.  Check our The Parent Mentor Workshop Page above for Seminar details and more about Aneladee.  This workshop will be November 15th & 16th at the Iron County Visitors Center.  We encourage all our Commonwealth Parents to attend.
We also welcome other homeschoolers in our area and the Southern Utah region.  We hope you will all feel welcome to join us in this awesome opportunity.
Thank you to Angela Holcomb for getting this ready.
Come take an awesome journey with us!

Welcome to our Site!

We are just getting this page up and running.  We really want to Unite as Home Educators in Iron County.  If you have found this page, please pass it on.
We are the Iron County Commonwealth.  You can find more information about commonwealths at lemimentortraining.com
But first and foremost we are homeschoolers.  A few of us moms miss the group connections that we've had in other cities and thought this would be a perfect venue to get us all together.
Please join us, whether you a veteran or are just beginning your home education path.  Our Extravaganza has something for everyone and our speakers are addressing topics and concerns that every homeschooler should aware of.
Don't be shy and bring your family to join us.

See you soon!

Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery (from Cedar City HomeschoolersYahoo Group)

The Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery, located on campus at Southern Utah University, would like to invite you to be a part of our education program. Each fall, we host interactive school tours that are two hours long. One hour is spent touring the art exhibition and creating art projects, and another hour is spent doing an integrated activity at the Garth and Jerri Frehner Museum of Natural History.

This fall, students will experience Jim Jones: The San Blas Years, which is an exhibit representative of the portrait and figure work he completed during 14 winters spent in Mexico creating art. The program will run from September 16th- November 8th. Each tour is adapted to be appropriate for K-12 grade levels. These tours are free; you only need to pre-register your group.

We would like to keep the CedarCityHomeSchoolCommunity in the loop and
give them the same opportunities as the rest of the Iron County School District (K-12) to participate in our education program here at the gallery.

Follow the link below to register for the program.
